Her name was Giselle Prentiss, an otherwise unknown woman who was on the USS Majestic. She was ignored, having been just one of the many who worked in medical. She hated the changing of CMO's she had hoped that she would someday be chosen to be brought up from the lower ranks, and become a full fledged doctor.
She had tried to garner notice from the short term CMO Lily Marlow, but something happened and Marlow was no longer in charge. It went to that other person who couldn't make up their mind as to whichever position they were in, intelligence, securithy and then medical? Then they left with their family and the other who also took place and seemed to have desire for Doctor Marlow.
Giselle was glad that they left, and then there was the dragon, and that sarcophagus attached to the dragon. It was something she could tell was of ancient make, both that and the dragon. She wanted to see it, she was wanting to study it, but it didn't happen. Lily, made friendss with the dragon, and others too. She didn't get to.
It happened one night, during leave before the crew had been transfered to the Orcrist. She was mad, once again she was refused access to the sarchophagus. It was medical but it was underguard, why? She got drunk, she spoke about the return of the Majestic, the ship that seemed to have gotten attention by others.
She was talking to someone, someone handsome, someone who understood how she was feeling. It so happened she spoke to an aide who worked for an Admiral. An Admiral! The man was soothing to her hurt feelings, her being denied being brought up from the ranks she was competant, they deemed her not competent it was that mixed up CMO.
He was the one who made it to where Lily felt she had to step down from her position to the lower rank of ACMO. Maybe Giselle had a shot at that. No another came to claim that prize. Commander Raf Montoya.
She was taken to see Admiral Isaacs, who was delighted in finding out about what was on the ship. He spoke to her, promised Giselle she would be his personal doctor. He raised her rank to lieutenant. Giselle was seen and acknowledged, she was important to him.
Under his guidance, Giselle decided she had to gain the sarcophagus for herself and for Issacs. She wanted to study it along with studying Rystix. It wasn't too difficult to get on the USS Orcrist. She was still listed as part of the crew, with a rank raise. That made her equal status as Lieutenant Lily Marlow. Which gave her more access to medical. Which also gave her a higher security code. Compliments of Admiral Issacs. She had checked.
To the lab where the stasis chamber lay resting. Her eyes lighting up with happiness, running her fingers along its desired surface. Cooing softly at its beauty.
"You are mine to look at now, my lovely. All mine. I have Rystix, now I will have you--"
There was the sound of someone approaching, Giselle hid, aimed and hit using heavy stun....
