Location: Medical Lab Two

After all, she quietly mused over what she had seen. The images of Cade, as well as Raf did show up in the world of Rynn. Also, who was that woman who arrived? Ryn seemed to have recognized her. Lily will have to quiz her at a later time.

Currently lost in her holographic world, Marion watched as the two men approached, carefully checking to see if anyone was following them. At first, she saw no one. Then she noticed a shape in the trees. Immediately alert, she watched between Robin and Alan and the person in the woods. She didn't want to yell and scare the person off, but she didn't want to give whoever it was a chance to attack Robin and Alan.
When the two were almost to the tree, Marion got a good look at the person. It was Ruby, a barmaid from the Nottingham inn. But Marion didn't know what she was doing out here in the woods. And where was Little John? He should have been with either Robin or Ruby. She dropped softly to the ground to find out if any of them had news.
The Robin Hood Raf reached for his sword at the sudden appearance but as he recognized the maiden he rushed to her, taking her hand in his. "Milady what are you doing here in the wood..." look at her attire "...and in such odd apparel?"
Before Ruby could reply, Marion joined them. "What's wrong? Is everything okay in town?"
"It's Sheriff Prenar. He's coming with a dozen men. Prince John ordered him to scour the woods for Robin Hood and anyone with him." Then she looked down at her dress and frowned. "This isn't what I was wearing this morning..."
Lily gave a little bit of a chuckle, "What do you think of this, Rynn I mean Marion. Just to let you know you can talk to me, and we can talk with you."
Ryn blinked. It took a moment for her to register the voice. "It's incredible," she whispered. "It feels more real than a holodeck. I was completely absorbed in the world around me." It feels like a type of hyper-realism and the world is expanding to match what I'm thinking of."
She looked at the other three. A holodeck wouldn't take characters out of her thoughts and memories, either. Cade as Alan-a-Dale was an interesting choice. But Raf...he made a great Robin Hood, but she could also see him as Zorro. Either way, he made a perfect hero. Ruby...she wasn't sure where the barmaid came from, but her dress was familiar. Then it clicked. She was an operations officer Ryn met once at a conference.
Looking to the monitor on the wall that was recording both the machine's functions and Ryn's bio-signs Raf chimed in. "We are getting a lot of data now the pod's functioning. I know you'd probably like to continue but we should probably pull you out before this thing begins a statis cycle."
"Good point," Ryn replied. It was probably a good idea to get out before she went much farther with this fantasy anyway. But she wasn't quite sure how to do that. "Okay, I'm done here. Can you open the chamber and let me out, please?" she asked the stasis chamber.
There was no response.
"End program." Still nothing. She thought about leaving the chamber, but she was still in Sherwood Forest. Robin, Alan, and Ruby had stopped talking and were looking at her oddly.
Then she addressed the two outside. "I can't physically do anything," Ryn said. "Hey Lily, what's the command to open the stasis chamber? Raf, can you see a way to open this?" Yeah, that was probably something she needed to know before getting in.
Raf began looking for anything near the edges of the 'lid', a latch button anything and wasn't finding anything. he was beginning to worry as he spoke. "Lilyyy???"
Lily walked over to where Raf was at, "Here's the open 'button' if you will." pressing on a crystal that was emerald green. In fact, it could be an emerald but that wasn't something she had even investigated into.
The lid opened and Ryn's eyes went to Raf. "Thanks." She had to wait for the lid to finish opening and the chamber to release her.
Helping her out of the pod, "Robin Hood?"
The amusement which showed in Lily's eyes, was matched by the broad grin that appeared. "Looks like you had fun. I think I should have shown you both how to open up the stasis chamber. And it is rather simple, my brain hasn't been too focused due to the changes of coming aboard the Orcrist.
She paused to look at the stasis chamber "I have been wondering if this was created by an ancient branch of the El-Aurians. Indications do point towards that possibility. This is due to the hologram, Aurora speaking to our previous Chief of Operations in an ancient tongue of the El-Aurians." Lily looked at Ryn, "Her name was Siora."
"That would be an interesting avenue to explore," Ryn said to Lily.
Then she turned her attention to Raf. "While I admit Zorro would be more appropriate, Robin Hood fit the setting." And, though she wouldn't admit it out loud, he did look good in tights. She needed to get a couple of images of him from the stasis chamber for her computer.
He didn't mention that he had that outfit, if his parents hadn't gotten rid of it. His main concern right now other than the review of the data collected from the pod, was to secure the images of him in tights. "Well, I am pretty good with a bow..."
"I'd like to see that." Ryn said, thinking of Raf as Robin Hood. "I've only shot a bow once, and it's been a while." It was something she should try again. There had to be a holodeck program she could use. Maybe one with Robin Hood...
But that was for another time. Right now, she needed to focus on why they were here. "Well, now that we know how the stasis chamber works--and how to get in and out--I suggest we keep it in a secure place while we learn more. I'd like to look over the data first, then possibly try it out again," Ryn said. Maybe while she was getting an image of Raf as Robin Hood, she could see if the computer could make one of him as Zorro.
"And this is the reason why I insisted that this crystal stasis chamber to be brought onboard the Orcrist, and not turned over to the science department on Earth, I had some strings I could pull in order for that to happen." Lily's eyes slid over to where Ryn and Raf were. "For now, I think that it has been a good examination of the chamber. Thank you for agreeing to come take a look at it." giving a smile. Having caught the glances the two of them were exchanging, Lily felt that it was time to leave.
"I'm glad you gave us the opportunity," Ryn replied to Lily. "I wonder if there's a way for more than one person to use the chamber at the same time?" That was something she'd have to look into later.
"You know, that is a question that I'd never considered in asking or finding out." Lily responded with a smile, casting a knowing glance towards both Raf and Ryn. "We can find that out later. I'm headed out though, I have an appointment." Giving a wave, Lily made her exit.
Once Lily left the room, Ryn turned to Raf. "So, do you have a cape to go with those tights?"
Raf raised a brow. "Robin Hood didn't wear a cape..." Making a Z with his finger then winking before he turned. As he walked away, he added, "...but I do have a mask."
