(As inscribed on the dedication plaque USS Orcrist)

In the year 2398 this new ship is commissioned into a Federation that has returned to its roots. One that is seeking out new lives and new civilizations.
Beneath the outer armored hull of the Akira class ship, there is heart, there is family. Friendships possible. Discoveries to be made. A new beginning for the crew

Its April and we're alreay in the middle of the month.
We've got a new player, but a familiar writer. As most of the crew has written with the writer. Welcome to our COB, Jemimah.
I also wanted to thank everyone who have been writing on the Majestic. I love your writing and keep up the great work.

Mission: Mini Mission-Adjustments [USS Orcrist]
Posted on Fri Jul 31st, 2026 @ 6:40pm by Lieutenant Commander Hadir Prenar & Lieutenant Junior Grade Ralen Vessa
Vessa had not hacked anything.
That felt worth remembering.
She had used her own clearance, followed three perfectly normal menus, ignored one warning she considered badly worded, and found herself inside a tactical simulation package that probably should not have been sitting under flight readiness without a lock on it.
That was not hacking. That was Starfleet leaving a door open and then acting surprised when a pilot walked through it.
The tactical simulation suite was dark except for the curved holo-display around her and the hard glow of a fighter control rig in front of the seat. It was…

Mission: Mini Mission-Adjustments [USS Orcrist]
Posted on Thu Jul 30th, 2026 @ 7:08pm by Lieutenant Junior Grade Ralen Vessa & Ensign James Pullard
Vessa had not gone looking for the cocky ensign.
She had simply passed the flight simulation bay and noticed one of the stations running a difficult approach programme: poor visibility, unstable thruster response and a docking corridor narrow enough to make the computer seem personally offended.
That was enough to make her stop.
She watched the last part of the exercise from beside the console. Whoever was inside handled the craft confidently, pushing the approach faster than procedure recommended and correcting late enough to make it clear the risk was deliberate.
Cocky, then. The doctor had not exaggerated.
The simulated…

Mission: Mini Mission-Adjustments [USS Orcrist]
Posted on Tue Jul 28th, 2026 @ 3:30pm by Lieutenant Junior Grade Ralen Vessa & Lieutenant Pete Mitchell & Lieutenant Phyllis D'Lar & Lieutenant Junior Grade Nick Bradshaw & Lieutenant Junior Grade Hadassah Rey & Ensign Stryvek & Ensign Edruj Daughter of Thrawn
Vessa found the flight deck before she found half the rooms she was actually supposed to know about.
That said more about her priorities than her sense of direction.
The Orcrist’s main flight deck was alive in the way proper flight decks were never quite allowed to be on reports. Technicians moved between craft with toolkits and diagnostics, gantries shifted overhead, power couplings hummed beneath the deck plating, and the air carried that warm metallic bite of systems being tested hard before anyone trusted them with lives. It was noisy, busy, half-organised, and full of people pretending the whole thing…

Mission: Mini Mission-Adjustments [USS Orcrist]
Posted on Sun Jul 19th, 2026 @ 11:40am by Lieutenant Junior Grade Ralen Vessa & Lieutenant Commander Rafael Montoya
Vessa had already decided that Sickbay was too clean.
That was not fair, strictly speaking. Sickbays were supposed to be clean. Sterile surfaces, calm lights, organised equipment, biobeds lined up with all the cheer of quiet accusation. Everything had its place. Everything knew what it was doing. It was the sort of room designed by people who believed the body was a system that could be coaxed into behaving if you asked it enough questions and kept very good records.
Pilots knew better.
Bodies were unreliable little traitors. They cramped at the wrong moment, bled at inconvenient speeds, and developed…

Mission: A Day In The Life

[Sick Bay]
Raf was just finished with a patient who had had an antigrav unit fail and come down on his foot. There had been serious damage, compression fractures of the metatarsals, tendon ruptures, and contusions but nothing that couldn't be repaired. He had ordered him kept overnight for observation and limited duty for a few days for a few days as a precaution but he didn't foresee any issues.
After sending notification to Rynna about one of her people and finishing up some other reports he closed his terminal. On his way out he let Lilly know he was…

"Computer Open up Personal Log of Lieutenant Lily Marlow." Lily ordered taking a seat upon the chair in front of the screen. She sipped at the warm ginger tea which had a touch of honey in it.
"Dear Annabelle." Lily paused then shook her head, then continued. "I don't know if I can truly use this sort of beginning as I had planned early on. You as far as I know, are alive. Hopefully you are. Time can only tell at this point. I had requested Lieutenant Prenar as well as Mother's friend Aisanna to help solve the mystery of…

Computer, begin personal log.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEP BEEP
Personal Log, Orin Sempton. Stardate... I have no idea. I could find out, but that would require me exiting the safe haven under my desk, where I am currently hiding like I'm 6 again. Holding my legs, rocking back and forth like I'm afraid my father will burst in and drag me out to another site halfway across the world.
Lily asked me to dinner. A private dinner. I said yes. Why wouldn't I have? She's wonderful and funny and fantastic to talk to. And she probably just wants to talk more of…

Well, A new day and a new ship. I've met with the new Captain and he seems super nice and very capable, this should be a great assignment. I am looking forward to meeting with the rest of the crew.
I've got this feeling in the back of my mind, but I'm not certain what it means yet. Grandmother E'lsara would say that there is a change coming in my life, if there is I hope it's a good one. By the gods, thinking about this could drive one mad. I'll just let it go for now.
Well my quarters…

"First personal log of Lily Vanessa Marlow."Lily paused with a little bit of a sigh."Restart, I would rather make this a bit more personal than just saying, personal log. Instead, I will make this more of letters to you my best friend, Annabelle Trevor. I know you're not alive, but I feel I can sense your energies, your spirit come to visit me and give me strength and courage when I need it the most. I really miss you,Sister of my heart. Even though you were not biologically my sister, you are still my sister. Therefore, my personal logs will…

Computer, begin personal log.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEP BEEP
Personal Log, Orin Sempton. Stardate... Huh, I don't know. How strange. Like where I'm sitting. On another starship, rocketing across the galaxy.
You know, for a time, I didn't think they'd send me back out here. Figured they would just keep me on Earth, jerking me around in the Personnel Office till I gave up and stopped bothering them. Starfleet is many things. Chiefest among them, is they are a bureaucratic nightmare. If my father is to be believed, and I think he might have a sliver of truth in his bias, it's…
